Rounding Boards
Our company offers two different options when it comes to the front and backs on carousel rounding boards.

Option 1: Rounding Board Touchup
This includes full cleaning of the front and back of each rounding board. Then we touchup any small chips, nicks out of the paint, repair minor damage to any of the molds, shields, and decorative pieces attached to each rounding board. After the touchup is finished, we coat each rounding board's front and back with a couple coats of fresh varnish ensuring full protection. A rounding board touchup means that each board with still have that beautiful aged look that happens naturally with each carousel. We will also clean the attached light bar at the bottom of each rounding board.

Option 2: Rounding Board Restoration
This includes the same services as a touchup such as the cleaning, minor repairs to damaged molds, shields, and decorative pieces attached to each rounding board. The difference is by choosing to restore the rounding board would look like new with fresh paint so they would lose that aged look. After the painting process is finished, the fronts and backs would get a couple coats of fresh varnish. We will also clean the attached light bar at the bottom of each rounding board.
Sweep + Cross Sweep Refinish
The sweeps are the wood beams that radiate from the center pole. They are held together by a series of cross sweeps, which run in a polygonal shape around the center of the carousel. Due to weathering, these wood beams can turn dull and dry. After cleaning each and every sweep and cross sweep, we add new coats of fresh varnish to make them shine once more. We will also clean each light bar attached underneath each beam.
Center Surround
Our company offers two different options when it comes to center surrounds.
Option 1: Center Surround Touchup
This includes full cleaning of the fronts of the center surround walls. Then we touchup any small chips, nicks out of the paint, repair minor damage to any of the molds, shields, and decorative pieces attached to each center surround. After the touchup is finished, we coat each center surround panel with attached moldings and murals with a couple coats of fresh varnish ensuring full protection. A center surround touchup means that each surround with still have that beautiful aged look that happens naturally with each carousel.

Option 2: Center Surround Restoration
This includes the same services as a touchup such as the cleaning, minor repairs to damaged molds, shields, and decorative pieces attached to each surround. The difference is by choosing to restore the center surround panels making them look like new with fresh paint so they would lose that aged look. After the painting process is finished, each center surround panel would get a couple coats of fresh varnish.
Molding Restoration
Not only do carousel figures, chariots, fascade, etc. need touched up and preserved. Moldings, shields, and other decorative pieces on a carousel may need attention too. Depending on the condition of each case, these can be done either on-site or taken off and restored back at our workshop. There they would be stripped, throughly cleaned, primed, painted, and varnished to look brand new. We also have the ability to make new vinyl decals, if need be.
Floor Refinishing
Did you know that our company not only travels across the US doing carousel figure touchups, but we also offer floor refinishing? When we refinish the dull and worn wood carousel platform, it makes the figures look like they are gliding over water. First, we sand, mop clean, and add coats of shining floor varnish. The client can choose the desired finish of the floor varnish.
Mural Painting
Whether you need one mural or 20, we offer in house mural painting of your choice of size, theme, or subject. The mural paintings will each be one of a kind pieces of artwork that can be displayed anywhere on the carousel. Depending on the pre-existing condition of your carousel's murals, we also offer mural restoration. If the wear or damage to the mural is minor, we might be able to touchup and varnish on-site.
